Bill Belichick's future with the New England Patriots has been discussed all season. However, heading into their Week 15 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, the rumor mills began spinning even more.

Social media went crazy on Tuesday, with reports that Patriots owner Robert Kraft has already decided to part ways with the future Hall of Fame coach after this season. And on Wednesday morning, Belichick was asked about this.

But as usual, he didn't give anything away.

Belichick was first asked if he has an understanding that Kraft will not ask him to be back next season.

His answer: "Getting ready for Kansas City."

The head coach was then asked if him and Kraft have had any discussions about next season, and was also asked if he would like to continue coaching despite the rumors.

Belichick repeated the same answer.

Heading into Week 13, the Patriots currently have a 3-10 record, holding the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The struggles the team have faced this season are unlike anything that has happened since Belichick took over the team. That combined with the lack of offensive weapons and consistent quarterback controversy has led to many fans calling for Belichick's time in New England to end.

And based on the latest rumors, it seems Kraft might be listening.

However, it's hard to imagine that Kraft would part ways with arguably the best coach in the history of the National Football League. And with plenty of football still to be played, things can always change.

While Belichick won't give a straight answer, only time will tell if the Patriots decide to stick with the coach.

But this simple answer is getting tiresome, with fans just wanting a small shred of information regarding the future. Even just to know if he even wants to keep coaching.

Regardless of everyone's opinion though, don't hold your breath on anything changing.
