Bailey Zappe has cleared up one controversial comment he made earlier in the week.

With the Kansas City Chiefs coming to Gillette Stadium this weekend, there is a possibility that Taylor Swift might tag along. So during an appearance on WEEI's Jones & Mego Show, Zappe was asked if he's a fan.

"No, ma'am," he said. "I'm not like, not a fan, I just don't listen to that music,"

This differs from the Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, who admits to being a Swiftie and even went to her Era's Tour concert over the summer.

However, on Wednesday, Zappe was asked if he has listened to any of her music since the interview earlier in the week. And his answer did not disappoint.

"Okay so, if you listen to the whole quote, I say I'm not, not a fan," Zappe said with a smile. "So I used to be a fan because I'm a country guy. I listen to country music. She used to be country, so there was times of course when a Taylor Swift country song came on and I listened to it. Now she's moved over to pop. I'm not a pop guy. So I'm a fan, I just don't listen to that type of music. Just clear that up."

He was then asked if he will be nervous if she is in attendance on Sunday.

"No I won't be nervous," he said. "It'd be pretty exciting of course to have her here. I know she loves being here at Gillette, so I'm sure that's exciting for her to come back."

Zappe's first comment might have provided the Chiefs with some additional motivation, but now that he's clear it up, things should be ok.

With all this speculation, let's see if Swift even comes to the game at all this weekend.
