Two or three weeks ago, the Buffalo Bills' chances of making the playoffs were at an all-time low and now, they've risen from the grave like The Undertaker in the infamous GIF we've all seen countless times.

Buffalo has won back-to-back games after its heartbreaking loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12. They've beaten the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys, as well. It's not like they've bullied the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals, or anything like that.

As a result, the Bills currently have a 68% chance of making the playoffs and the play a pretty awful Los Angeles Chargers team in Week 16. Meaning, Buffalo's chances of getting to the postseason should be even better after this road trip. Especially when considering the fact it opened as a 14-point favorite over LA.

Still, the Bills will take any help they can get this weekend. And based off the latest Chargers news, it sounds like that will be the exact case: Keenan Allen has yet to practice all week and was a non-participant, again, on Thursday.

In other words: Allen is very unlikely to play on Saturday.

Obviously, this isn't guaranteed and the fact that it's a home game for the Chargers also means Allen gets an extra day to heal up instead of having to get on a plane and travel.

The Bills defense is already coming off what was arguably its best performance of the season and the Chargers are already without star quarterback Justin Herbert, who is on IR. An Allen-less Chargers offense would make the assignment even more mouth-watering and enticing.

But at the same time, the Bills can't take this team lightly. No matter the state of disarray it's currently in. A West Coast slip-up would really hurt this team and it'd just reignite the frustrating conversations that surrounded everyone just a couple of weeks ago.

The Bills seem to be aware of that, however, and said all the right things earlier in the week.

"Every game from here on out is a playoff game for us," Josh Allen told reporters. "That's the mentality that we have – it's essentially win or go home. So again, we have to be prepared for every punch that the Chargers can throw at us and be able to respond and adjust accordingly in-game. So yeah, we have to be ready."
