Win No. 9 on the season came about for the Cleveland Browns in Week 15 over the Chicago Bears.

Cleveland forced some turnovers and gave away their own in a game that was a bit sloppy for some time.

Still, the Browns moved to 9-5 and with everything that has happened this season, they’ll take that.

Some really big performances sparked the Browns and helped them get across the finish line.

WR Amari Cooper

Cooper had his fourth 100-yard game of the season that was capped off by a huge 51-yard touchdown for the Browns. Cooper caught a pass across the middle of the field and raced up the sideline for a score that would tie up the game. Cooper’s ability to mesh with any quarterback that has thrown in there has been a stable point for the offense.

TE David Njoku

It was a monster performance for Njoku on Sunday with 10 catches going for 104 yards. Njoku has become Flacco’s favorite target and his yardage after the catch has been a big boost to his numbers. It’s been a career year for Njoku, who crossed 700 receiving yards against the Jaguars.

LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

Here is another player having a breakout season. It’s been exactly that, as Owusu-Koramoah looks like a Pro Bowl nod to his point. JOK was able to boost his stats with a free interception to end the half and he recorded a sack as well. Owusu-Koramoah is playing at a high level.

CB Greg Newsome II

Newsome had four tackles against the Bears and a couple of passes defended. If you see Newsome celebrating, it’s after he or his teammates have done something positive. There is no one on the Browns’ defense that celebrates more than Newsome, who has now strung together some good performances.

S Ronnie Hickman

Hickman stepped in and played more snaps with both starting safeties out for the game. The undrafted rookie had four tackles and a pass breakup. After bursting onto the scene in the preseason with multiple interceptions, Hickman made his first start in Week 15.

DT Shelby Harris

With Mo Hurst out for the season, Harris saw an increase in reps and it was a plus for the Browns. Harris was only credited with one tackle but he was a force in the middle. Chicago didn’t have a rusher go over 40 yards and Harris played a role in that.
