The Buffalo Bills put on a dominating performance on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Dallas Cowboys in a tough matchup, and much of that was due to a solid run game.

So, when taking the podium after the win, Josh Allen had the perfect words to sum up how he played.

“I felt like the kid that didn't do anything in the class project but still got an A," he told reporters.

Allen finished the game with seven completions for 94 yards and one touchdown. He also had eight carries for 24 yards and one touchdown.

That clearly is a lot, but instead, the quarterback gave the credit to his teammates.

He started with the running backs, and it was James Cook who stole the show, finishing with 179 rushing yards on 25 carries including one rushing touchdown. He also had two receptions for 42 yards and one receiving touchdown.

Because of that spotlight the Bills placed on the run game, Allen explained how that might have been the difference.

"We got to win games and it doesn't matter how we get them done. Sometimes a team like that, they're used to playing in a dome. They throw the ball quite a bit and I think teams try to throw on their defense quite a bit," Allen said. "I'm not sure anybody's attacked the run as much as we did tonight. And again, we trusted our guys up front and our backs to make plays and they did."

Cook and Allen were the only two to get into the end zone on Sunday, but charging down the field is no easy feat, with each member of the offense stepping up. And holding the Cowboys to 10 points says a lot about the defense.

All in all, Allen had the perfect way to describe Sunday's game: "Complete team win today."
