Despite two wins in a row and a 9-5 record, the Cleveland Browns are road underdogs in Week 16.

When the Browns travel to take on the Houston Texans, they’ll be 2.5-point underdogs at the hands of the Texans, according to FanDuel.

Houston is coming off a narrow 19-16 win over the Tennessee Titans and the Browns just slipped past the Chicago Bears, 20-17.

Cleveland being underdogs in Week 16 has more to do with how they have played on the road. The Browns have lost just one game all season at home, the other four have come while on the road.

The Texans did not have C.J. Stroud against the Titans due to a concussion but he very well could be returning against Cleveland. Houston is a different team with the likely Rookie of the Year, rather than having to start Case Keenum.

Win No. 10 would be huge for the Browns and would likely lock them into a Wildcard spot in the playoffs. Unfortunately for them, oddsmakers don’t believe that is going to happen in Houston.

At the beginning of the season it looked like this would be the game that Deshaun Watson returns to start in Houston for. But it’ll be Joe Flacco leading the Browns in to take on the Texans.
