In the last game, the Las Vegas Raiders did something different with their offense. Obviously, they actually scored, which alone is more than they did the week before when they got shut out. However, there was something different they did that showed a huge difference from one week to the next.

The Raiders scored 63 points, their most ever, so obviously, whatever it was worked. But what was it? Well, it has everything to do with offensive coordinator Bo Hardegree, who made some changes himself.

Instead of being on the sideline calling plays and talking to his QB, he was in the press box. Obviously, we see the difference on the scoreboard, but how does Hardegree feel about it? How big of a difference did it really make?

"The differences, obviously, you can see the full field," Hardegree said on Tuesday. "You guys are up there; you can really see it pretty quickly, so you get instant feedback, which is important as a play caller.

"And that was an advantage for sure. Communication was quicker; I thought adjustments. And so, it was a different vantage point for sure because you're just sitting in a box, kind of soundproof, so it was definitely a change, and it was positive for us."

The offense did more things than they have all year. Obviously, that's an obvious statement when they scored 63, but you could see it in the plays. The run game was working, the deep ball was there, and they even did trick plays several times.

Not to mention, it was the best football Aidan O'Connell has played. Hardegree was able to see everything and instantly make in-game adjustments much easier. If you ask me, he should be in the press box for the rest of the season. He already has some great traits as a playcaller, too.
