The biggest thing for the Cleveland Browns in Week 18 isn’t going to be their own game against the Bengals.

Cleveland has the No. 5 spot in the playoffs locked up and it won’t matter whether they win or lose in Cincinnati.

In Week 18, Cleveland will find out who they’re going to play in the Wild Card. As of right now, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, and Houston Texans all remain a possibility.

If the Jacksonville Jaguars win against the Tennessee Titans they’ll win the AFC South and will host Cleveland in Week 18. Despite Cleveland having more wins than Jacksonville (9-7), a division crown for the Jaguars would give the higher seed.

Cleveland defeated Jacksonville in Week 14 in Cleveland by a score of 31-27. If Jacksonville were to lose, two other teams would have a chance to play Cleveland.

The Browns have defeated both the Texans and Colts this season and those two teams will play in the final week of the regular season. Way back in Week 7, the Browns just escaped Indy with a win over the Colts. Cleveland defeated a C.J. Stroud-less Texans team just a couple of weeks ago by two scores.

If the Jaguars lose, one of these two teams will have the chance to steal their division and host the Browns in two weeks. Cleveland has to feel good about their chances since they’ve already defeated the possible teams that they could be playing against.

We’ll see how Week 18 plays out and who the Cleveland browns will have to travel to face in the Wild Card.
