Although it might not have seemed possible, the Miami Dolphins' loss just worsened with the latest report.

Star pass-rusher Bradley Chubb is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL in the Dolphin's loss to the Ravens on Sunday, multiple sources report.

This is devastating for a team that is considered serious Super Bowl contenders this year.

With just over three minutes remaining in the Dolphins 56-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Chubb went down after attempting to tackle Melvin Gordon and was heard screaming in pain. Trainers immediately rushed over to him and the cart was brought out.

The comes after the Dolphins have already lost Jaelan Phillips, who suffered a season-ending torn Achilles tendon in the Dolphins' 34-13 win over the New York Jets at the end of November.

With Phillips out, Chubb has been crucial. He has recorded 4.5 sacks over his last two games against the Jets and the Cowboys.

No injury ever comes at a good time, but this might be the worst-case. Chubb is not only out for the Dolphins final regular season game against the Buffalo Bills, with the AFC East championship on the line, but also will be out for a playoff run.

Chubb finishes the season with 74 total tackles, 11 sacks, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and two passes defended across 16 games this season.
