Cleveland Browns fans have embraced Joe Flacco since he made his first start for the team and his time in Cleveland just keeps getting better.

Flacco was asked during his media availability to talk about his impact on the team, such as leadership. He admitted that guys do look at you a little differently with being in the NFL for so long. The Browns starting quarterback kept it real from there.

"If I messed up in high school, I mean, I could be these kids' dads,” Flacco said.

Flacco will soon be 39 years old and the youngest player on the team is OT Dawand Jones, who won’t turn 23 years old until August. That is just to put it into reference.

Flacco’s funny demeanor has been embraced by his teammates, fans, and even the media. He has a very casual work approach to football but he likes to have fun and making jokes in pressers shows that.

In five games, the veteran quarterback is 4-1 as a starter and is throwing for over 320 yards per game. Flacco is operating with a 13-8 touchdown to interception ratio. That’s a number he will want to improve, but it has been workable with an elite defense on the other side of the ball for Cleveland.

It’s too early to tell if Flacco and the Browns can work something out for him to be back next year, he has already said that he wants to keep playing football. His play has clearly shown he’s capable and he’s going to have interest in the offseason because of what he’s already done.

We’ll see if that is in Cleveland or if he has to go take another city by storm.
