Cleveland Browns are officially heading back to the NFL Playoffs for the second time in four seasons under head coach Kevin Stefanski.

After missing out the last two seasons, Cleveland has finished the regular season at 11-6, following a lopsided loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The score of 31-14 reflects that the Browns were playing backups, while the Bengals were rolling with starters that were able to go.

Following a few Week 18 results, the No. 5 Browns officially will be playing the No. 4 seeded Houston Texans in the Wild Card round of the playoffs next weekend. Houston defeated the Indianapolis Colts last night and the Titans’ upset win over the Jaguars sealed the Texans’ spot.

Back in Week 16, the Browns went to Houston and delivered the Texans a 36-22 loss on Christmas Eve. There’s a twist to it this time around. In that game, it was Case Keenum starting for C.J. Stroud, who was dealing with a concussion.

The star rookie quarterback will be ready to go for this matchup with Cleveland and that immediately makes the Texans a tougher matchup. Stroud has 23 touchdowns to just five interceptions and has thrown for over 4,100 yards this season.

Cleveland has had the No. 1 defense throughout the regular season and they’ll need it to show up right away in the playoffs. It’s one week at a time now for every team in the NFL and the Browns’ attention turns to the Texans.
