On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders ended their 2023 season against the Denver Broncos. While it is sad the season has ended, at least the Raiders left some fans happy with a big win over a division rival, extending their win streak over the Broncos.
Some fans would have rather the team lost so they could have kept the ninth overall pick, but knowing interim head coach Antonio Pierce, they would never lose on purpose.
The Raiders ended 2002 on a bad note and finished with just six wins when they obviously should have had more based on their in-game situations and the talent on their roster. They were headed down the same path with Josh McDaniels, so they made a change.
And with that chance being made, the Raiders improved tremendously. Was it enough to make the playoffs? No. But they had a shot. They almost never had a shot last season. They improved their win total by two wins this season, which may not sound like a lot, but it's hard to win games in the NFL.
The Raiders went 4-2 against the AFC West, with one loss to the Los Angeles Chargers early in the season and the other loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at home. That's an improving season.
Now, they have to hit the offseason and find out what they are going to do, what decisions they are going to make, and what they feel is the right direction to go with this team. Right now, they are kind of stuck in the middle. They aren't contending, but they aren't tanking or rebuilding.

But was this season a success?
"F*** no," Maxx Crosby said after the win over Denver.
Raiders are a part of one of the most head scratching decisions this week
The Las Vegas Raiders will battle the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. It certainly may turn into a shootout. Both offenses have shown impressive flashes over the past few weeks. For the Raiders, their passing defense hasn't been a strength this season. Justin Herbert and the Chargers could throw the ball around the yard a […]
