The Baltimore Ravens rose to the occasion in their road matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

This "Monday Night Football" contest was billed by many as the "Game of the Year," and in the end, it was the Ravens who had the last laugh. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson threw a pair of touchdown passes against the 49ers' top-five ranked defense, while Baltimore’s defense came away with a combined five interceptions off of Brock Purdy and Sam Darnold.

Thanks to their 33-19 win over the 49ers, the Ravens will head into Week 17 still in possession of the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Overall, Baltimore holds a 1.0-game lead over the Miami Dolphins for the top spot in the conference.

If the season were to end today, the Ravens would receive the lone bye in the AFC. The Dolphins, who hold the No. 2 seed in the conference, would host the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC wild-card round.

The Ravens and the Dolphins will square off at M&T Bank Stadium in Week 17. If the Ravens come away with a win in this highly anticipated contest, then they will officially clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
