Last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars franchise quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, sustained yet another injury while he has been banged up almost all year. He has dealt with a high ankle sprain, a concussion, and now a shoulder sprain on two different occasions.
There is the belief that maybe Lawrence is playing too hurt. You like for your players to be tough, but not when it's going to be detrimental to the team. In this case, he may need to sit out this week, and he may be forced to anyway, as the shoulder is a big injury for a quarterback.
But, on Thursday, head coach Doug Pederson gave a bit of an update on Lawrence and said his shoulder is "getting better."
Pederson also mentioned that Lawrence would do some individual work on Thursday after not practicing at all on Wednesday. However, when the media got their chance to view the practice, he was not present.
There is a chance that we will see C.J. Beathard on Sunday.
