The 2-4 Minnesota Vikings are set for a Monday Night Football matchup against the 5-1 San Francisco 49ers.
This game could have major implications for both teams. With a win, the Vikings could be right back into the NFC North race, especially after the Lions lost big on Sunday. The Niners, meanwhile, cement their status atop the NFC West with a win.
Here's how to tune into the matchup.
Minnesota Vikings (2-4) vs. San Francisco 49ers (5-1)
Date: Monday, October 23
Time: 8:15 p.m. Eastern
Location: U.S Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
Betting Odds: SF -7.0, O/U 43.5
How to watch on TV: ABC, ESPN, ESPN2
Streaming: with ESPN+, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo TV or NFL+
Radio: KFAN 100.3FM (Vikings), KNBR680 (49ers)
Can the Vikings' offense function without Justin Jefferson?
Last week, against the Chicago Bears, the Vikings couldn't even muster 200 passing yards. TJ Hockenson led the team with just 50 receiving yards.
That may be enough to beat a team like the Bears, but it won't be enough to beat the Niners. Jordan Addison and KJ Osborn will need to step up and make plays for Kirk Cousins. And, Cousins cannot keep turning the ball over like he has been.
