The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently sitting at 3-2 and have shown a lot of highs and lows during the short start to the season.

While we have certainly seen plenty of highs, the lows have caused some concerns about the abilities of this team to compete against the best of the best, and this has caused some to wonder if changes are coming.

The answer to that question is easy; no, the Bucs aren't making any big trades at the deadline.

The Buccaneers have never been much of a big trade team at or before the deadline.

The franchise has made a handful of trades with late-round picks for depth guys, but the history of this team indicates that there is no savior running back coming in to fix the run game single-handedly. There is no safety depth coming for top picks.

The Bucs have been conservative with their picks, and with good reason. This year they have no choice.

With dead money still on the books and the need to reset over the next few years, the Bucs have every reason to let it ride with what they have and hopefully gear up for another opportunity to go all-in in a few years.

A trade at this point wouldn't do enough to make any dramatic changes for the chances of this team to make noise in the playoffs-it would just take away from the potential of this team down the road.

The history speaks for itself-a big trade has little precedent in Tampa in a time like this. Waiting for said trade to happen will leave a lot of people sad and waiting.
