The Chicago Bears have released their final injury report for Week 8 leading up to their Sunday Night Football clash against the Los Angeles Chargers.

As expected, quarterback Justin Fields has been officially ruled out with a thumb injury he suffered back in Week 6. Bears rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent will be starting in what will be his first road outing in the NFL.

The Bears offense, however, will be receiving one major key player back in rookie running back Roschon Johnson. Johnson practiced in full all week after clearing protocol from a concussion suffered in Week 5. He will add a much needed presence on offense alongside D'Onta Foreman who has shined the last two games.

Here's the rest of the Bears injury report the team sent out after Friday's practice:

Two other players were ruled out but both decisions were expected at the beginning of the week. Offensive lineman Nate Davis will miss his second consecutive game, his fourth missed game of the season. Rookie defensive back Terell Smith is currently dealing with mononucleosis and will miss some time.

The only other players with injury designations entering the weekend are safeties Jaquan Brisker (illness), Eddie Jackson (foot), and offensive lineman Dan Feeney (knee). Brisker should be expected to play, but Jackson's status will be the one to monitor leading up to Sunday's game.

The Bears designated two players to return from the injured reserve this week, in defensive lineman Khalid Kareem and left tackle Braxton Jones. Kareem was a full participant the entire week and should be expected to make his Bears debut.

Jones, however, was listed as limited during each day of practice this week and will be a "no go" for Week 8. Given the Bears level of success on the offensive line in Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders, the team will opt to give Jones another week before returning to the starting lineup.

Finally, rookie right tackle Darnell Wright will not have an official designation going into the weekend. Wright dealt with a shoulder injury in Week 7 and was also listed with a toe injury during the week.

Wright was a full participant in practice on Friday, but that doesn't mean he will be playing without any limitations against the Chargers stout defensive line led by pass rushers Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa.
