NASHVILLE — A few hours after the Tennessee Titans lost to Baltimore Ravens in London, Titans defensive lineman Teair Tart fired off some cryptic posts on X (Twitter).

"Who's really mad here!!" with two laughing emojis wrote Tart, who did make the trip across the pond but did not play in the game due to a toe injury. Tart would later "like" a reply to his post from a Titans fan that insinuated his post was "subtweeting" somebody.

Sunday's game against the Ravens was the second straight contest that Tart has missed. With Tart absent in Week 5 against the Colts, Tennessee surrendered 165 rushing yards to Zack Moss. The Titans have obviously lost both games.

Over the last few weeks, there has been some palpable tension around the Titans' facility surrounding Tart's status. Last week, defensive line coach Terrell Williams was asked about Tart missing significant practice time and opted to not discuss the topic.

"I don't really want to talk about Teair right now," said Williams, who sounded frustrated. "Just because he's injured and I just don't know what the deal is. So you gotta talk to [Vrabel] and Teair about Teair. When he's out there he's doing a good job. That's where we are."

Mike Vrabel also said last week that he hoped Tart would be out there against Baltimore. But Tart did not practice all week or play in the game.

Considering those comments from his coaches and Tart's cryptic social media posts, it's quite possible there is something more going on here than meets the eye. After all, this is not the first time Tart has taken to social media to express his frustrations with the Titans organization. Just this past offseason Tart tweeted something along the lines of "for sale not on sale" during his contract negotiations with Tennessee.

This could be something as simple as Tart and the Titans' coaches not seeing eye-to-eye on the severity of his toe injury, but there's definitely a disconnect right now between the team and Tart that needs to get resolved soon.
