The Las Vegas Raiders' fans have endured a lot of suffering for a long time. It has been 20 years since the last time this franchise won a playoff game, just to put things into perspective.

This year is supposed to be one where they make the jump, and while they have won two in a row, that is looking unlikely. Sure, it could happen, but we're seeing a lot of the same issues we saw last year.

The fans have a right to be upset; however, what they did on Sunday is kind of wrong.

Against the New England Patriots, the Raiders got a huge win and started their first win streak of the season. But, in the game, we saw Jimmy Garoppolo leave at halftime and Brian Hoyer finish it out. Garoppolo was dealing with a back injury, and while the defense was on the field with a few seconds left, he was getting in an ambulance and being taken to a local hospital.

When Hoyer came out, fans booed. Raiders' fans actually booed a guy before he even played a snap. Josh Jacobs didn't really like that either.

"To hear the fans boo him and sh_t was kind of crazy," Jacobs said after the game. "But he came out there and bombed 'em and shut them up… I think he played good, man."

Hoyer didn't deserve that. Sure, the Raiders haven't had a good quarterback play consistently in a while; however, booing Hoyer isn't going to make him play better. In fact, it could make him play worse in the future.

But he ended up playing well. He now has the biggest play of the year, where he threw a 48-yard pass to Tre Tucker that looked really good. He could be the guy this Sunday against the Chicago Bears. If he is, please don't boo the guy. If he starts playing badly, boo him, but don't do it before he sees the field.
