3 Matchups to Watch:

Colts young CBs vs. DeAndre Hopkins

This will be the first game for the Colts without starter Dallis Flowers this year after he suffered an Achilles injury vs. the Rams in Week 4. Rookie Juju Brents will remain one of the starters, who he is paired with on the boundary is still a mystery.

Colts defensive coordinator Gus Bradley shared this week that both rookie Jaylon Jones and former starter Darrell Baker Jr will be looked at to replace Dallis Flowers. Both will likely see snaps as the team figures out who their other starter will be for the rest of the season. I wouldn't be shocked if the Titans rotate Hopkins to both sides of the field to attempt to find a mismatch for their star WR.

Derrick Henry vs the Colts front 7

Whenever the Titans are on the schedule, the player teams will circle and plan the most for is star RB Derrick Henry. Henry didn’t look like himself in the first three weeks of the season, but he had his best day of the year last week vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, rushing 22 times for 122 yards with a touchdown, and let’s not forget his passing touchdown on the day.

Henry has rushed for over 100 yards in six of his last seven games vs. the Colts. And if the team wants to prevent Henry from doing it again, it'll start with their front seven.

The Colts saw their strong run defense take a step back last week, allowing their most rushing yards of the season to the Rams. Both of their interior defensive lineman, Grover Stewart, and DeForest Buckner, were well below 100% last week, but both were able to up their practice reps this week ahead of this Week 5 matchup.

Colts passing attack vs. Titans secondary

The Colts have slowly but surely been opening up their playbook each week. And this week, they will be taking on arguably their worst secondary so far this season in the Titans. The Titans have allowed the 9th highest passing yards per game this season at 266. Anthony Richardson has had historical success as a runner to start his NFL career, but if there were a game for him to have his breakout passing performance, this feels like a good one.

The team will count on their WRs, Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce, and Josh Downs, to create separation and make plays for the team on Sunday. If they can play their best football of the year, it'll go a long way to the Colts achieving their goal of ending their five game losing streak to the Titans and remaining first in the AFC South rankings.
