The Minnesota Vikings are 1-0 in the preseason after getting their first win since 2019 over the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday. They look to pick up their second win when they face the Cleveland Browns in week two of the preseason.

The game will come after the teams have two days of joint practices at the Browns facility in Berea, Ohio. It's something that has been a focus for head coach Kevin O'Connell throughout his tenure with the Vikings. They have hosted three joint practices over his first two seasons and this is the first time they will travel for them.

The joint practices will be where the focus is for the Vikings and Browns. It's unlikely that any of the top players will suit up for Saturday's game because of the work done in practice. It will allow us to talk about and watch the players trying to make the roster.

All eyes will be on J.J. McCarthy

While the starters and superstar players likely won't play on Saturday, the game will give us another chance to see the rookie quarterback in action. Things went pretty well on Saturday in his debut.

After he threw an interception in his first drive, McCarthy led three touchdown drives, including touchdown passes of 45 and 33 yards. He looked poised and confident under center and, despite some issues with decision-making and mechanics, looked every bit the part of a first-round quarterback.

McCarthy is likely going to see a lot of run which will help speed up his development.
