Ole Miss is coming off of an impressive week in the recruiting department. The Rebels added three talented recruits over the last seven days, but head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff will be eagerly awaiting the decision of four-star safety Jaylan Morgan.

Morgan, a Murfreesboro, Tenn. native by way of Rockvale High School, is set to choose his college destination on Monday afternoon at 2 CT. He has whittled his list of schools down to four which includes Georgia, Florida and Mississippi State alongside Ole Miss.

Georgia is considered to be the frontrunner in the Morgan sweepstakes, but Kiffin and Co. have been known to surprise before. The Rebels have added three four-star safeties in the 2025 cycle, which includes a commitment on Sunday from Major Preston.

In today's landscape a team can never have too many defensive backs. With that being said, Ole Miss is well positioned even if the Rebels are to lose out on Morgan. He has made official visits to Florida (May 31), Ole Miss (June 7), Mississippi State (June 14) as well as two to Georgia this summer.

Morgan checks in as the No. 24 safety in the 2025 cycle and the No. 6 overall prospect from The Volunteer State. Ole Miss currently ranks No. 25 in On3's Industry Team Recruiting Rankings for the 2025 class.
