The Las Vegas Raiders have all of the pieces to be good on offense and maybe even elite. Now, we still aren't quite sure what the quarterback position will be with Gardner Minshew now and Aidan O'Connell with a full offseason as the guy. But they do have a ton of weapons around those two that have them set up to be great on that side of the ball.

The Raiders went and got even more weapons this offseason by drafting Brock Bowers and signing guys like Michael Gallup, Jalen Guyton, and Alexander Mattison. Of course, there are others as well. However, people seem to be sleeping on a guy from last season.

Tre Tucker, who caught the two longest passes of the season last year in a bad offense and is the pick that the Raiders traded for when they traded Darren Waller away to the New York Giants, has the potential to be very good. He's not there yet, but I could see him playing a role similar to that of Tank Dell for the Houston Texans.

He has already been working extensively with Aidan O'Connell this offseason, building the two's chemistry.

"I have thrown with Tre [Tucker] a bunch," O'Connell said on Maxx Crosby's podcast. "It sucks we can't use the ball at the facility; that's probably the worst part are we got to go to a park, but there's a park right by my house, and I worked with, I threw with Tre about three times a week. Jacobi [Meyers] will come out a little bit as well. Christian Wilkerson, so a few guys that will come out and throw us a little bit. And now that we started obviously back up officially, the team is able to throw out the facility."

Tucker was a rookie last year in a bad offense and now has the chance to be the third option behind guys like Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers, who demand a lot of attention as players. After getting his rookie year out of the way and having the offensive system in place that the Raiders have, it's not a fallacy that the young wide receiver can be great in 2024.

"I think so," O'Connell said when asked if he thinks Tucker will have a big year. "I mean, he had an awesome year last year; he's a special person. Obviously, what they're doing now in Miami kind of obviously reminds people of that. And so the speed, like when you can run like that, you can open a lot of things up. He's a fun guy to throw to and also get to know because we're rookies together. You kind of go through a lot of the same things together, the growing pains."

Under new offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, the Raiders will be in 12 personnel a lot, which means the Raiders will run the ball a lot. Running the ball will set up the play-action game, which will only help the deep ball to Tucker. So, not only is he working to get better, but he will be in an offense that will be better for him as well.
