We are not used to saying the Houston Texans have anything that is the best in the entire NFL. That's just not something that has happened over the years. They have historically been more of a team that is or has the worst in the league at something that is the opposite. That is until 2024.

Even last season, as good as it was, the Texans didn't have the best offense in the league, as it was often stagnant in the run game, and they certainly didn't have the best defense in the league. Even as great as C.J. Stroud is, I wouldn't say he was the best quarterback in the league last year, although he could be in 2024.

Looking ahead to 2024, the Houston Texans could be a force to reckon with. They boast some of the most talented offensive players in the NFL, each bringing their unique strengths to the game. This potential powerhouse of an offense is not just a speculation but a sentiment echoed by a Pro Football Hall of Famer.

"Diggs, Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and Dalton Schultz—other than the San Francisco 49ers—and we talked about this before—maybe the Detroit Lions; there isn't another team that can put four out there who are as dangerous as they are. And they all specialize in different things, so the entire field will have to be covered," Pro Football Hall of Famer John McClain said, as he has covered the NFL for over 45 years.

With the trio of talented wide receivers in the Texans' lineup for 2024 and the talented tight ends Dalton Schultz, Brevin Jordan, and Cade Stover, who are already impressing at OTAs, the team's offensive strategy becomes a mystery for opposing defenses. Will they attack with a strong running game with Joe Mixon in the mix now or a dynamic passing game? The unpredictability of the Texans' approach will keep defenses on their toes, setting up potential game-changing plays.

The weapons the team has around C.J. Stroud, who is still on his rookie contract, are amazing. Nick Caserio, who has received so much hate over the year for some of his decisions, is now looking like a genius. But I would have to disagree with McClain. They don't have some of the best weapons; they have the best weapons, better than the two teams he mentioned.
