The Buffalo Bills have a herd of new receivers entering the 2024 season.

Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chase Claypool, Mack Hollins, and KJ Hamler are all new players that were not in Buffalo a season ago.

Josh Allen sat down with USA Today's Doug Farrar, who asked him about making connections with all of his new receivers.

"I think taking the time to get to know them off the field, and outside the facility," Allen said. "Having people over for dinner. Going out and golfing with guys. Fishing, whatever it is. Making sure you’re spending time with guys outside the building, and learning their history and their family and what makes them tick. And doing it in a genuine way. Sometimes, the league can be transactional, but the relationship part of it is very real. Especially for me, the more you can trust someone off the field, the more you trust them on the field. And I’ll stand by that as long as I live."

It's clear Allen makes a genuine effort to make his teammates feel welcome. During OTAs, a video emerged of Allen doing different coordinated handshakes with each of his receivers. While that may not seem like anything crazy, it shows the effort he puts into each part of the relationship with his teammates and with the guys he'll be throwing the ball to.
