Former Arkansas cornerback Dwight McGlothern told NFL Draft analyst Justin Melo that the Cincinnati Bengals seemed to have interest in him following his pro day last month.

"I met with the Cincinnati Bengals’ cornerbacks coach after my Pro Day. That was pretty cool," McGlothern said. "The Bengals sounded very interested in me. We’ll see what happens. I’m just sorting through my schedule as we speak. I’ll be taking some visits as well."

McGlothern spent the last two seasons with the Razorbacks after transferring from LSU. From 2022-23, the Houston, TX native hauled in seven interceptions and allowed just 48.4% of passes targeted towards him in coverage to be completed. He's currently ranked 188th on the Consensus Big Board.

Ball skills are baked into McGlothern's game, so it's no surprise to see the Bengals show interest in him. Cincinnati's outside cornerbacks posted zero interceptions outside of Cam Taylor-Britt's four in 2023.

The Bengals are also particular when it comes to drafting cornerbacks. They either select them really early, or really late in the draft. Taylor-Britt and fellow starter DJ Turner II were each second round picks, and there's a clear history of using first round picks at the position prior to Zac Taylor's arrival as head coach.

McGlothern wouldn't be selected before the fifth round at the earliest, and the Bengals have five picks from that round until the end of the draft. He's a likely target for them in that range.
