The Cincinnati Bengals are keeping wide receivers coach Troy Walters busy.

Walters made his way down to Texas last week to witness the pro days of Texas wideouts Adonai Mitchell and Xavier Worthy, both of whom will likely be selected within the first two rounds of the NFL Draft.

Walters made his way down south again this week to see another probable Day 2 receiver work out.

Malchi Corley is on Cincinnati's radar

Walters was one of many wide receiver coaches to watch former Western Kentucky pass catcher Malachi Corley's impressive pro day on Monday afternoon. According to Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy, a total of nine receivers coaches, including three from AFC North teams, were in attendance.

Corley wasn't able to do much at the NFL Scouting Combine, so he drew a crowd for his actual workout.

Corley ran a 4.426 short shuttle and was timed in the 4.4s in the 40-yard dash. He racked up 180 receptions for 2,279 yards and 22 touchdowns over the past two seasons for the Hilltoppers, who play about 200 miles southwest of the Bengals.

Corley is an intiguing receiver who's projected to go off the board after the first round. The Bengals seem to be in the running to draft a receiver with one of their three picks on Day 2, and Corley would be a good fit in the slot between Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins as a rookie. 91.6% of his snaps in the pass game have come from the slot, per Pro Football Focus.

Walters showing up to see Corley run is a sign of interest, but the 22-year old isn't scheduled to stop by Cincinnati on a top-30 visit, at least not publicly.
