Death, taxes, and the Buffalo Bills taking a receiver in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Bills selecting a wideout is as close to a guarantee as you can get in the NFL Draft. Without a legitimate starting boundary receiver on the roster (unless they make a splash trade ahead of their pick), common sense says the Bills will take a receiver in the first round.
In his mock draft on NFL.com, "Good Morning Football" host Peter Schrager has Buffalo selecting wide receiver Adonai Mitchell from Texas.
"The Bills stay put and still get one of the top wideout prospects in the draft," Schrager writes. "Big, fast, and physical, Mitchell garners plenty of interest in league circles. This is lower than where some other mock drafts have him going, but I could see him lingering in the mid-late 20s."
Mitchell had 55 catches for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2023 with the Longhorns.
James Cook will be invaluable to the Buffalo Bills’ offense in 2024
The Bills’ running back will be a vital factor to their success
