A former Tennessee Vols commit found a new home this week.

2025 four-star defensive back Shamar Arnoux decommitted from Tennessee in February after originally committing to the Vols in April, 2023.

Arnoux, 6-foot-2/175 lbs from Carollton, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 31 cornerback in the nation and the No. 43 player in the state of Georgia.

On Wednesday, Arnoux announced his commitment to the USC Trojans.

“This was more than just a 3 to 4-year decision, this was a life-after-football decision and I feel like I have a lot to offer USC as a football player,” said Arnoux to On3’s Chad Simmons. “And I know what being part of the USC family can do for me when football is over.”

Arnoux has an interesting connection to USC via his Georgia roots. The four-star defensive back is high school teammates with 2025 five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, who committed to USC last August.
