Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young is playing in the BMW Charity Pro-Am in South Carolina this week. Young, along with fellow celebrities and amateurs, are grouped with Korn Ferry professionals in a three-day better-ball competition with the goal of raising money for a good cause.

Although he's been out of the NFL for 13 years, Young's celebrity status remains intact as one of the best college football players of all-time from his career at Texas which included a national championship.

In fact, a Golf Channel reporter sought out the No. 3 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft to ask a few questions about his current endeavors during his round. The only problem was the reporter was interviewing the wrong person the whole time!

In one of the most awkward moments you'll ever see on live television, this reporter mistakes former Citadel football player and current offensive assistant for the Bulldogs Everette Sands for Young.

Sands, who was decked out in Citadel gear, handles the interview like a pro despite his 5-foot-10 frame looking nothing like Young's 6-foot-5 stature. Though his collegiate career doesn't quite stack up to Young's, Sands was a four-time All-Southern Conference running back during his day and ranks second all-time in rushing yards at The Citadel.

Sands took the mix up in stride following his round by posting to his 'X' profile joking about the interaction. He later broke down the awkward mishap with local news reporter Scott Eisberg.

Though an innocent mistake, plenty of football fans across the nation are having fun with it across social media.
