The Las Vegas Raiders haven't even seen their first-round pick Brock Bowers play a single snap yet, but they feel comfortable enough with their decision – so much so they want to pay him a lot of money.

The Raiders took a different approach to the draft than most thought they would. Many people thought they would maybe go after a quarterback, cornerback, or even an offensive tackle in the first round. But that changed when the teams before them, like the Atlanta Falcons, threw a wrench in their plans.

So, they went with the best player in Brock Bowers, who they feel very strongly about. So much so they gave him a good chunk of change. Bowers is now signed to a fully guaranteed 4-year deal worth $18.1 million. He gets $10 million via a signing bonus and a fifth-year team option.

Now, this is a chump change for players at the top of the game, but for a rookie who hasn't played yet, the money is a lot, especially the guaranteed amount.

Maybe this decision will be viewed as a great one. For now, we will have to wait and see, but it's clear the Raiders love Bowers already.
