Notable facts and nuggets about Cincinnati's college free agents
- After not drafting a running back or linebacker, the Bengals have added two of each with Cain, Casey, Collins, and Njongmeta. They join two different position groups with paths to making the Week 1 roster.
- As one of two wide receivers to sign with Cincinnati after the draft, Burgess posted incredible explosion and speed testing numbers this Spring. His alma mater, Cortland State, is also where offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher played quarterback.
- Lombardi becomes the fourth quarterback on the roster, and will compete with Logan Woodside for reps behind Joe Burrow and Jake Browning.
- Miller joins the club at offensive tackle with a height of 6-8. That makes four tackles on the team with that height.
- Miller is also from Mason, OH, which is located about 25 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. Dowell is also an Ohio native from Morth Ridgeville, which is located near Cleveland.
- McNamara is set to battle last year's sixth-round pick Brad Robbins throughout the summer for the punter job.
14 UDFA signings brings the Bengals' roster to 87 players, which is a handful shy of the 90-man roster limit for the offseason.
This leaves a few openings for any veteran free agent signings, or potential tryout players to make the team.
Cincinnati will have OTA workouts starting May 28.
