One of the biggest questions fans have when a first-round player arrives at their favorite team isn't always what's his biggest strength or weakness, even though 99% of the NFL Draft coverage naturally revolves around that but rather a much more simpler question:

What number is he wearing?

Well, the Dallas Cowboys have an answer for Tyler Guyton, their new left tackle. The Oklahoma product will use No. 60 in the NFL, just like he did at college.

Cowboys' team reporter Nicole Hutchinson reported the news while sharing an emotional clip of the team's newest member waiting while his jersey is being printed.

Per Pro Football Reference, No. 60 hasn't been worn in a regular season game since DT Davon Coleman used it in two games of the 2015 NFL season. Most recently, International Player Pathway prospect Isaac Alarcón wore it as an OL and DL as a member of the offseason roster/practice squad from 2020-2023.

Guyton is expected to be the team's immediate starter at left tackle although he should be expected to go through some growing pains as a rookie. He has the traits to turn into something special as he checks just about every box in terms of size and strength but his technique needs some refinement with his use of hands and anchor being a concern.
