The Los Angeles Chargers needed more wide receiver help on offense. They've added a new veteran to their group.

The Chargers signed veteran WR D.J. Chark to a one-year deal.

NFL Network was the first outlet to report the news.

Justin Herbert gets another proven target on an affordable price tag for the team. Chark is a six-year NFL wideout. Los Angeles had no receiver with more than three years in the NFL or a season with over 800 yards before the signing.

Chark totaled 35 receptions for 525 yards and five touchdowns last season for the Carolina Panthers. At 6'4, he is a big bodied target.

Chark joins Ladd McConkey as the top two targets added at WR for Los Angeles after they lost Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.
