2025 five-star quarterback George MacIntyre has been committed to the Tennessee Vols since January, but that apparently isn't stopping other programs from trying to flip the talented recruit.

According to 247Sports' Tom Loy, Alabama and Florida State are working to flip MacIntyre. The Seminoles, specifically, are pushing hard for the Tennessee commit.

From 247Sports: Alabama has been on him for quite some time. They were on him when Nick Saban was still running the show in Tuscaloosa and the new staff has been recruiting him as well. Even more relentless in their pursuit has been Florida State.

The Seminoles have been the most consistent in trying to flip him and continue to push hard to get him to Tallahassee. Led by head coach Mike Norvell and quarterbacks coach Tony Tokarz, Florida State would love nothing more than to flip him from his pledge

If you're a Tennessee fan, there's no reason for concern when it comes to MacIntyre's commitment to the Vols.

The five-star quarterback told 247Sports that he's not taking visits to other programs and he's not picking up the phone when other schools call.

"I'm 100 percent locked in," said MacIntyre (via 247Sports). "A lot of people say that, but I actually mean that. I'm not taking other visits and I'm not answering calls. I appreciate the schools still reaching out to me, but I'm solid with Tennessee."

Those comments aren't much of a surprise coming from MacIntyre. It was obvious from his commitment video back in January that he didn't commit to Tennessee on a whim.

You can't blame other programs for trying to flip MacIntyre — he's one of the top recruits in the nation — but it certainly sounds like Alabama and Florida State (and anyone else that's still trying to recruit MacIntyre) are doing nothing but wasting their time.
