The Tennessee Vols are reportedly adding an analyst to their coaching staff that has a connection to new linebackers coach William Inge.

According to Football Scoop's John Brice, the Vols are hiring Nick Brautigam as a defensive analyst.

For the last two seasons, Brautigam was an analyst at Washington, where he worked with Inge.

Brautigam was an all-conference safety at Cornell College in Iowa from 2010 to 2013, where he played under his father, Vince.

After his playing career was over, Brautigam served as an unpaid intern at Northern Illinois before eventually landing a graduate assistant role with the program. He's also spent time at Western Illinois, Loras, and Montana Tech.

At Montana Tech, Brautigam served as the program's defensive coordinator.
