The Philadelphia Eagles have surprisingly not found a trade partner for their star edge Haason Reddick.

They have even pushed back his $1 million roster bonus due on March 15 to April 1 so they don't have to pay him at all and it buys them more time to find a suitor.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, there could be a holdup on the Eagles' end as they wait for the right off. And if they don't get that offer, then Reddick could end up staying in Philly on an undervalued deal.

"At this point in time it is just a question of if and when somebody will step up and give them the right offer," Schefter said Wednesday on 97.5 The Fanatic. "They are not going to move him until then, and if they don’t get it, they hold onto him.”

Reddick, 29, originally signed a three-year, $45 million contract extension with the Birds in back 2022. He's about to play his final year of that deal and make a projected $16 million with nothing fully guaranteed.

It's rumored that Reddick is looking for a deal north of $20 million and Eagles general manager Howie Roseman seems to be hesitant about paying a soon-to-be 30-year-old pass rusher that much.

Roseman gave Reddick, although he never asked for it, permission to seek a trade in February to determine his value.

After that report dropped, Reddick made it clear that he would much rather stay in Philly, but it's obvious that he also wants a better deal than his current one after leading the Eagles in sacks over the last two seasons.

Per Schefter, the Eagles would be looking for a second-round pick or a package deal of a third- and a fifth-round pick in exchange for Reddick.

There is no timeline for when Reddick will be traded but it makes sense for a team to get him before the 2024 NFL Draft kicks off on April 25.

The important takeaway here is that there's still a chance Reddick will be on the Eagles' roster in 2024 if nobody steps up with the perfect offer.
