The wide receiver position is still a need the Carolina Panthers are willing to address.

David Moore, the veteran wide receiver who last played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will join the Panthers, Mike Kaye of the Charlotte Observer reported Tuesday.

Moore agreed to a one-year deal with the Panthers, according to reports. He will most likely play a depth role for the Panthers moving forward.

In his last season with the Buccaneers, Moore tallied five catches for 94 yards and one touchdown.

He has ties to the new-look Panthers head coach Dave Canales. Their year in Tampa Bay overlapped and he now finds himself in Canales' offense again.

Moore is a former seventh-round pick in 2017. He played four seasons for the Seattle Seahawks. Moore has also played for the Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Green Bay Packers.
