The New Orleans Saints have their fair share of doubters this season. Amongst them in the national media, Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright doesn't have high expectations for New Orleans this year. On multiple occasions during the offseason, he has explained why he is lower on the team than some other national media analysts. His latest argument isn't a strong one.

Wright predicts that the Atlanta Falcons will win the division with 10 victories, and he says that the Saints are the 'most overrated team in the NFL.'

Addiitonally, Wright thinks that Falcons RB Bijan Robinson will have a 2,000+ yard season and win offensive rookie of the year. He sees a historic season for him in 2023 – somehow.

Robinson could, but it would be extremely difficult. Wright doesn't analyze the factors working against the team and their rookie this season.

Atlanta has a mediocre offensive line, and their quarterback is unproven in Desmond Ridder. Robinson may see a ton of loaded boxes that are game planning to slow him down. Defenses won't be worried about Arthur Smith's passing attack with Ridder at signal-caller.

Additionally, fellow Fox Sports analyst Chris Broussard does believe in the Saints this season. He thinks that they are a team that could surprise people. Their success would definitely surprise Wright. His response to Broussard regarding that belief was another comical one.

Wright caught flack from Saints fans early in the offseason due to his consistent comments about their salary cap situation, too. His narratives toward the team aren't new.

Overall, it is clear that the analyst isn't a believer in this year's Saints team – nor how they run the organization from a financial point of view. New Orleans will look to prove him wrong once again.
