Teddy Bridgewater's debut
The big thing we'll see on Saturday will be the Lions debut of Teddy Bridgewater. We'll get to see what he can bring to the table and see if he was able to form any chemistry with guys this past week. Sadly, we won't get to see him throw the ball to Jameson Williams due to his hamstring injury likely keeping him out for remainder of the preseason.
Kicker Battle
There's a chance we could get the final answer to who's going to be the Lions kicker going into the season. Riley Patterson seems to have the edge, but Parker Romo could really make things happen if he has a chance to show off his leg power.
3 Players to watch
- Dylan Drummond: Things in the Lions receiver room are a lot different than they were a week ago. Denzel Mims is gone and now the Lions are going to be looking for some receiver depth. Drummond can show that they don't have to look far with a standout performance here.
- Maurice Alexander: Alexander is the guy likely standing in Drummond's way due to his ability to work in the return game. Last week he ripped off a 95 yard return for a touchdown. Can he get another one Saturday?
- Chase Cota: I'm triple dipping with the receivers because this is really the spot to watch for the Lions right now. Cota looked good against the Giants. Can he go out and have another performance like that again?

4 receivers the Lions could trade for
Detroit Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell said the Lions were probably going to be looking for some receiver depth very soon. Per Campbell, he and Holmes are going to discuss this very soon. Yesterday we suggested four receivers that are sitting in free agency that the Lions could maybe give a look at. Today we're […]
