Myles Jack, a former Jaguar standout and team captain announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this morning.

The Jags drafted Jack in the 2nd round (36th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. In six seasons with Jacksonville, Jack appeared in 88 games and tallied 513 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and three interceptions. He currently ranks 5th in tackles from the linebacker position in Jaguars history. Jack was also a team captain for the Jaguars in 2019 and 2021.

Following his final season with the Jags, the Steelers signed Jack to a two-year deal in 2022. He appeared in 15 games for Pittsburgh last year, but didn't put up glaring numbers. After Pittsburgh's signing of Elandon Roberts this offseason, the Steelers released Jack.

Jack reached his final stop in the NFL just two weeks ago when he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. After getting 2nd-team reps in practice and in Thursday's preseason game against the Browns, Jack decided to call it quits.

After a mostly healthy and very successful seven seasons in the League, Myles Jack let a good thing die and hung up the cleats.
