The New York Giants garnered a heartwarming moment on Thursday. After a great trade in the morning, they made a signing that fans will love later in the day.

The Giants announced that former Super Bowl champion cornerback Prince Amukamara singed a one-day contract to retire with the organization.

Amukamara was a solid piece in the Giants' 2012 Super Bowl title. During that season, he totaled 53 tackles, 6 pass deflections, and one interception.

In total, Amukamara spent five seasons with the Giants. During that tenure, the CB recorded 261 tackles, 43 pass deflections, and 7 interceptions.
