Whoever said that preseason games don't matter has obviously never been a player whose career depends on making the 53-man roster. The Las Vegas Raiders have a few guys like that. Sure, most players get another try elsewhere when they don't make the 53-man, but this is everything to them.

On Saturday, the Las Vegas Raiders will look to extend their six-game preseason winning streak against the Dallas Cowboys. In Week 3 of the preseason, the Raiders will likely look to lean on some of their depth guys, as some of the starters got some run last week against the Los Angeles Rams.

In that game, you will see some guys you may not know, and some of those guys may do extremely well. We already did three players to watch on defense; now, you should watch three on the other side of the ball.

Raiders three players to watch on offense vs. Cowboys

Chase Garbers, QB – We talked about this a bit in our How to Watch the Game segment, but Garbers has had his shot for two years now playing preseason games and continues to be last on the depth chart every year. Maybe, just maybe, the Raiders see something in him.

But if they don't and he doesn't play well in this last game, it may just be time to move on. He isn't ever going to play in an NFL game this year, and staying the same in terms of skill and talent this year as he had last year just isn't good enough to keep him on the roster, to me.

Kristian Wilkerson, WR – Here is a guy I think could be on some other team's 53-man roster. He likely won't make this one because the Raiders are so deep at wide receiver, but that doesn't mean it's his fault. He is playing this game, so other teams can see how good he is. This is his tryout for other teams to try and go after him when he does get cut.

Against the San Francisco 49ers, Wilkerson was electric. He had some huge plays, including a touchdown where he dragged both toes to keep it in bounds. He will be great for someone, just not in silver and black.

Dalton Wagner, OT – Wagner was offered the most guaranteed money as a UDFA than any other coming into this year. The Raiders did that because they liked him. The tackle out of Arkansas has a chance to make the 53-man roster, but it would have to be as a third-stringer. This game could very well determine whether he makes it or not.

Wagner has the size and all the tools; he just needs to play his game and follow the game plan. If he can do that on Saturday, he has a solid shot to be the third-string left tackle behind Thayer Munford.

This next game is so important for so many players, so let's not count anything out. There will be some good football played on Saturday.
