T.J. Watt is not only the best Pittsburgh Steeler, but perhaps one of, if not the best player in the league.

The last time he played a fully healthy season, he won Defensive Player of The Year and tied the single-season sack record at 22.5.

And while there was some controversy on whether or not he actually broke it, he can put that to bed, and help the charity of his choice by touching 23 in the box score this year:

Extra Motivation

"The defense is always going to be good, I think everybody just assumes that with the Pittsburgh Steelers, said Pat McAfee. "So I can't wait to see what you do this season. 22.5 [sacks] is a big number. You break it… We'll give $500,000 to a charity of your choice. All right, well just make that right now. "

"That's incredible, I'm here for it," responded Watt.

As we stand less than two weeks before the start of the season, T.J. Watt is in third in the odds to be DPOY again, sitting behind Myles Garrett, and Micah Parsons.

And while the two of them are both looking for their first trophy, I believe this season will be the best yet from Watt.

He's clearly on a revenge tour this year, feeling slighted by the pectoral injury that cost him seven games, and limited him in his return to action for the rest of the season.

I think his limited reps in the postseason proved that:

So we'll see if Watt can reach 23. That is a big number and one that will take a full 17 games to break. But it's also noted as the "GOAT" number, something I think would be befitting for a player of Watt's caliber.
