Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta went all out to revamp his team’s wide receiver corps during the offseason. From the signing of Odell Beckham Jr. to the call to select Zay Flowers in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, DeCosta made sure to address one of the team’s biggest offseason needs.

Beckham has been a part of multiple deep wide receiver groups in his career. While he is shying away from drawing comparisons between previous wide receiver rooms and the Ravens’ six-man wideout unit, he does see much potential across the board with the latter.

"But I look around, and Rashod Bateman was a first-round [draft pick]," Beckham said during a press conference on Wednesday. "'Nelly' [Nelson Agholor] was a first-round [pick]. I was a first-round [pick]. Zay [Flowers] was a first-round [pick]. And even the other guys that we have out there — 'Tread' [Laquon Treadwell] was a first-round [pick]. 'Duv' [Devin Duvernay], 'Ty' [Tylan Wallace], even 'Young Shizz' [Sean Ryan] — we have a bunch of guys that can make plays.

"So, we have a pretty selfless demeanor in that room, and we know whoever's in has got to be the one that has to make plays, and if they need to come out, whoever comes in is going to make plays. That's the mentality we carry in that room is, 'We're going to make plays.' So, I'm just excited to be a part of this."

It is not just the Ravens’ wide receiver group that has Beckham excited for his first season with the AFC North powerhouse. As the three-time Pro Bowler looks around at the plethora of talent within Baltimore's offense, he believes that the sky is the limit for the unit.

"But on the offense, you have [Isaiah] Likely, Mark Andrews [and] all the receivers we have," Beckham said. “You have three running backs, a quarterback, and the offensive line is great. I don't see too many missing pieces. So hopefully, all of us break out, and we all do our jobs to the best of our abilities, and we'll see what happens from there."

The Ravens’ new-look offense will make its much-anticipated debut in the team’s Week 1 home matchup against the Houston Texans on Sept. 10.
