Minkah Fitzpatrick holds a lot of respect for the organization he plays for and is encouraging his teammates to show theirs as well.

The Pittsburgh Steelers safety certainly got everybody's attention with his latest move in the locker room.

ESPN's Brooke Pryor posted a photo, showing the Steelers logo being roped off in the locker room. And she wasn't afraid to ask Fitzpatrick why he did that.

“I’m very, very big on the details,” Fitzpatrick said (via ESPN’s Brooke Pryor). “I think that something as small as keeping our logo clean, it’s simple, but it means a lot at the end of the day.”

The safety was reportedly tired of seeing footprints on the logo, insisting that keeping it clean is a sign of respect.

And he took this idea away from his time at Alabama, with Pryor adding that Nick Saban would not allow his players to step on the logo.

"At Alabama, we did it and it was a no-go touching that logo," Fitzpatrick said (via Pryor). "It boiled down to little things, even smaller than that. Everybody had to wear the same socks, same cleats, same gloves.

Fitzpatrick is a key part of the Steelers defense since joining the team in 2020. Last season alone, he had 96 total tackles and six interceptions across 15 games played.

He began his career with the Miami Dolphins, being drafted in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Across his five seasons, he has a total of 448 tackles, four forced fumbles, five fumbles recovered, and 19 interceptions across 79 games played.

And hopefully his latest locker room move will allow for the Steelers to have a lot of success this season.
