It really wouldn't take much to cause this fragile house of cards to fall apart on top of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The loss of starting running back Rachaad White before the start of the regular season would be a very easy way to set this year back before it even begins.

It looked like that was on the table earlier today after White went down in a scary, non-contact injury, but Todd Bowles has been able to ease some minds with his comments later in the day:

While it may take some time before everyone stops worrying about the topic altogether, this vote of confidence from Bowles does help.

However, while it is nice to hear that White should be fine and in a position to compete in the long run, it does still show that there is a major issue with the running back depth chart outside of White; who will Tampa count on if White does go down for a longer stretch of time?

The answer to that question is still unclear, and the Bucs not having an answer to that heading into the season could hurt them dramatically in the long run.

For now, Bucs fans can at least be happy that White is healthy and ready to go, but one still has to wonder if this will cause the team to reevaluate the current roster.
