Dallas Cowboys football is back! Kind of.

The team held its opening training camp practice entering the 2023 NFL season. While it's incredibly early to draw any conclusions, recapping some of the highlights on social media is a must.

Not everything was good for the Cowboys as Donovan Wilson was carted off the field with an injury, but let's recap some of the best of the team's first practice in Oxnard.

CeeDee Lamb's one-handed grab

What better way to start things off than with CeeDee Lamb making a one-handed grab over the middle of the field in what appears to be an in-breaking route. Lamb broke out as a WR1 last year and he shows no signs of slowing down in 2023.

Sixth-round rookie starts training camp with a bang!

The first interception of the year goes to Trevon Diggs Eric Scott Jr.! The sixth-round draft pick the Cowboys traded up for was in the right place at the right moment as Dak Prescott's pass bounced off of the hands of WR Simi Fehoko for the first pick of the summer. Interestingly enough, Fehoko was running a slant route, which is expected to be a heavily used route on Mike McCarthy's offense.

Smol RB season!

As somebody who is exactly his height, I've always wondered what someone as tall as Deuce Vaughn would look like in the NFL. Now, thanks to the clip below, we finally have an answer. Looking forward to seeing how he does in the Cowboys' running back battle.

Deadly accuracy from Dak Prescott

I'll admit it, this last clip of the day is nothing but eye candy. Dak Prescott rolled out on the fake to fire into the target net in slow motion and came up with the bullseye shot, courtesy of Mike Leslie. Forget about who's the quarterback, it's impressive that this is a drill even for the NFL.
