Earlier this month, the Tennessee Titans revealed the Oilers throwback jerseys that they'll be wearing during the 2023 season.

The Titans will wear the jerseys for two home games this upcoming season.

On Thursday morning, the Titans announced which two games will feature the throwback jerseys.

And I have a feeling that Titans fans are going to love the choices.

The first look at the Oilers throwbacks will come on October 29 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Tennessee will wear the jerseys for a second time on December 17 (Thursday Night Football) against the Houston Texans.

The decision to wear the throwbacks against Houston, the city where the Oilers were born, is cold-blooded. A significant amount of Texans fans feel like they should have the right to wear the throwback jerseys instead of the Titans. So that matchup should have a little extra juice on a Thursday night in December.

By the way, former Oilers wide receiver Billy "White Shoes" Johnson is completely on board with the Titans using the throwbacks.

"And when you look at it, the Titans are the Oilers and the Oilers are the Titans. People forget the Tennessee Oilers wore these uniforms, too, so it just seems right," said Johnson (via TennesseeTitans.com). "I can't wait to see them on the field again."
