Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman is quickly making a good impression during Cleveland Browns training camp.

Tillman, a third round selection by the Browns in the 2023 NFL Draft, made an nice grab on Thursday during training camp off a pass from starting quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The former Tennessee standout made the catch on a sideline comeback route and used his excellent body control to stay in bounds.

If Tillman is going to play a key role for the Browns as a rookie, then he has to build chemistry with Watson. That can be tough for a rookie — especially a rookie drafted in the third round — as first-team opportunities are usually limited during training camp.

Tillman, however, is benefiting from star wide receiver Amari Cooper's absence from practice (Cooper is dealing with a minor injury).

The former Vol doesn't appear to be wasting his chance as it looks like he's already building a nice connection with Watson.

Tillman will go through some trials and tribulation as a rookie — every young player does — but so far it looks like he has what it takes to make an impact in the NFL.
